So once again I ventured into London for London Fashion Week. I hadn't planned on attending but had some lovely invites and decided to head there for my eighth season at LFW so here's my LFW Day One Diary.
I wore this gorgeous La Redoute ensemble made up of these new season culottes and lace top in this beautiful rust colour. I love culottes as you all know and these fit beautiful. I kept it casual with these metallic slip ons and as I'd worn a black biker because of the rain I carried my fave Kate Spade.
Friday was the first day and I started at The Apartment. I've written about The Apartment before in one of my previous LFW posts. It is the most amazing hub for bloggers and influencers to hang out, get work done, meet brands, eat, drink and get your hair and makeup done as well as so much more. Over the course of LFW The Apartment had talks from the likes of Henry Holland to afternoon tea with dogs!! Yes dogs!! So much going on and such a great place to spend time. So I started my day with my hair and had this amazing braid done by the lovely Moira. It was stunning and great for the miserable rainy day too. Collection were also there to do makeup and give you the chance to try out and takeaway some of their new products. I especially loved the Lip Creams and you can see the gorgeous Danielle getting one of the most popular shades applied. I also loved the contour
I then had the pleasure of shooting with one of the lovely chaps from Comb who were shooting attendees of The Apartment all across LFW. It was so nice to get some great shots of my outfits, especially as I attended on my own so you can't guarantee you'll find someone to snap you.
In the afternoon I was attended the Ashley Williams show at the BFC Space courtesy of Sunglass Hut the official sponsor of LFW. Not only did they hook me and Danielle up with a ticket each, a pass for the BFC Designer Showrooms and a limited edition LFW tote bag but they had a gorgeous pair of RayBans for me too. They're a wayfarer style which is my favourite shape so I LOVE them!
The show was really great. Loved the soundtrack and spotting Alexa Chung on the frow, but I also really loved the punky vibe of the collection as well as some cool space age prints. After that we wandered round the Designer showrooms and took a look at some of the designers collections close up as well as lots of new and emerging designers work. This was a really nice bonus and somewhere I've not had access to before.
Day Two outfit and what I got up to is coming soon!!
