I was asked by Boohoo to write a post about a place that’s special to me and I just had to pick the pretty seaside town of Aldeburgh. Its about an hour away from where I live and although I’d been there a few times before especially when my folks come down to visit, five and a half years ago I came here for my first date with my now husband.

*

We walked along the beach, chatted non stop, ate fish & chips (well he ate and I watched ha ha) and sat in a pub all afternoon drinking cider and just talking. It was a brilliant first date and the rest as they say is history, so as you can imagine Aldeburgh holds pretty special memories for me. We popped across over Easter with Eddie as well and despite the day being cold and flippin windy as hell it was lovely to capture some snaps and share them here on the blog along with an outfit post.

Hopefully my lovely yellow boyfriend coat brightened the day up a bit and definitely matched in with the pastel coloured houses here along the seafront and the High Street and of course no trip is complete without some fish and chips from the famous Aldeburgh Fish & Chip shop. Although we ate them huddled in the car because it was so cold (sending Eddie into a backseat frenzy!!!) they were as yummy as always. This was also my first outing for my white ripped jeans.I’ve been wanting a pair for a while and I’ve even created a Pinterest board called Ways to wear White Jeans  to give me some ideas of how to style them up.

So that’s a little bit about my special place. Do you have a place that holds amazing memories?? What did you get up to over Easter??

Aw, I just adore these photos! The bright yellow with the monochrome looks great, and it’s just an easy but awesome outfit in general. Stunning photos, looks like a windy but lovely day by the seaside xx
