Its a tricky old thing choosing what to wear to Ascot, thankfully when I was lucky enough to be taken along for the day by the team at Wallis I had lots of gorgeous Wallis Occasion wear to choose from. Of course true to form I chose a jumpsuit. A jumpsuit is a great alternative to a dress for Ascot and can look equally as smart and dressy. For Royal Ascot (20th June on wards) you'll have to choose one that has full length trousers but right now you can wear a cropped trouser version like mine. This was my first ever trip to Ascot and we were so lucky to be treated to a private box which included a great view of the racecourse, a four course lunch and afternoon tea as well as a little flutter on the races themselves.
Here's what we got up to.
I'll be honest I had very little success betting on any of the races, but I loved my Ascot outfit and I especially enjoyed that we were in a private box (especially when it started to rain ha ha) Plus it was lovely to hang out with some fellow bloggers too. If you love getting dressed up and having a day out at the races then I would definitely recommend Ascot and I would also definitely recommend wearing a jumpsuit, especially if like me dresses are just not your thing. Later that evening I headed to a wedding reception and wore exactly the same outfit minus the fascinator and it was perfect for that kind of event too. I've linked some other gorgeous Wallis occasion pieces below and they are all gorgeous jumpsuits if you want inspo of what to wear to Ascot.
Thank you so much to the Wallis team for such a fun day.
