Rekorderlig Midsummer House event – What I Drank!

A couple of weeks ago me and my husband were lucky enough be asked to once again visit the Rekorderlig pop up bar. We had hugely enjoyed last years Winter Forest Bar See my Bang On Style at the Winter Forest Post and so were really pleased when we heard they were doing a summer version.

This pop up bar was in London’s Victoria Park and had very much a Swedish outdoor feel with the red planked building and barbecue, however sadly the weather was not on our side on the day we went so it was very chilly. I did though get to try the brand new Passionfruit flavour which was gorgeous and also a beautiful Rekorderlig Strawberry and Lime based cocktail which was AMAZING! it was so good I am going to recreate it in pitcher form at my next barbeque. It had elderflower and mint in and was so summery and refreshing.

We had lots of yummy Rekorderklig to drink (which is actually our favourite drink and our fridge always has a bottle or too) and some tasty Swedish hot dogs to munch on too, so even minus the sun it was an enjoyable evening. Thank you to Rekorderlig for inviting us and we cant wait to see what this years Winter event will be??

I will no doubt post about what I wore too as it was a rare occasion to get dressed up and head into London with the Mr in tow, but I didnt want to overload with photos so will save this for another post.
