Dress – Mango via Ebay
Necklace – H&M
Bag – Charity Shop
Cuff – Peacocks (old)

After blogging all about what yummy drinks I had at the Rekorderlig Midsummer house  I thought I would do a quick post showing you what I wore. I picked this dress up on Ebay a few weeks ago as I was searching for shift dresses. They are so easy to wear and I love the print on this one. It cost me about £6 so an absolute bargain and its lovely silky material but nice and lightweight too for summer.
I wore it with my faithful wedge ankle boots and some chunky gold jewellery. I’ve since bought another shift from a charity shop with a paisley print which I’m going to chop the sleeves off and wear with sandals.

Sadly the weather was not up to much despite what it may appear in the photos, it was quite cold so I spent most of my time in my coat!! ha ha but always a true blogger I braved the cold to get some shots of my outfit with my new 50mm Nikon lens which I have only just got around to opening despite buying it in March! Its so lush. Takes a bit of getting used to but it creates such lovely blurred backgrounds and is fab for low level light too which helped with the London Bloggers Party I went to last weekend.
Would love to know any of your top photography tips?? I always think its cool to try new styles of shots and play with settings so I hope you like these pics.

Recently I’ve been so busy with house bits as we have been doing a bit of moving furniture around and buying lots of new bits with vouchers and gift money from the Wedding. I might do a little post on some of the new decor bits when its all done, if you guys are interested? The whole bedroom has been kitted out with brand new wardrobes thanks to the profits of all my wedding bits I sold on Ebay. I sold all my Lightbox centerpieces and a whole load of other DIY bits I’d made and we’ve treated ourselves to new furniture so we had a mass trip to Ikea and only just finished building it all this weekend! That meant we spent alot of the sunny weekend stuck inside but we did spend a lovely Saturday outside at my Goddaughters 2nd Birthday, complete with Peppa Pig bouncy castle and an appearance from Peppa herself!

How did you spend the sunny weekend??
