Dorothy Perkins AW14 Accessories Event

A few weeks ago I went to a fabulous accessories based event held by Dorothy Perkins in the exclusive Groucho Club in Soho. Jewellery is pretty much my favourite thing in the whole world and long time readers of the blog will know that Dorothy Perkins jewellery pops up quite frequently in my outfit posts so this event was right up my street.

We were treated to a sneak peek of the AW14 collections which included so many gorgeous statement necklaces with iridescent metallics a big theme and bib style jewelled pieces still a key item for Autumn Winter. I love the rich tones of so many of the accessories including bright cobalt blue snakeskin and deep burgundy hats, scarves and jewellery. I also loved the soft pastel colours like pink that are set to stick around too.

Along with a glass of fizz and some tasty food there was also the opportunity to customise your own clutch bag with slogans using applique letters. I loved this, I’m a big fan of cool activities at events and this one was really great. Keep your eyes peeled on the blog for my custom clutch appearing in an outfit post.
