I've been working on my little home office makeover for a while now and I thought it was about time I shared the final result with you all. I've decided to share the home office makeover in two posts; the first post about the big elements like my furniture and a second post featuring all the smaller details including some DIY elements I made.
Since going full time on the blog and working from home, I wanted a space to sit and work but also to photograph my DIY posts and products on. I secured myself a corner of our spare room which only had a chair next to the window. You can see what the whole room looks like in my Grey & Pink bedroom makeover post. Although the rest of the room is pink I decided to paint this alcove white to keep it nice and bright and went for a white and gold colour scheme.
I was so lucky to find some amazing pieces at La Redoute for the main elements of my home office makeover. Along with my white desk I wanted a white bucket chair and found these perfect Scandi style white chairs. One day I want a desk big enough to sit both at it but for now I'm just using one and its just the look I wanted. I've kept it nice and soft with a gorgeous fluffy cushion which is another amazing La Redoute find. I honestly found so many amazing homeware pieces. Read on to see what else I got.

I'd had my eye on this La Redoute graphic rug for ages and it didn't disappoint when it arrived. It is sooooo soft and I love the mix of bright colours including pink and grey which help it tie into the whole room. I picked the smaller size and it sits just perfect under my desk. My desk had a gold makeover which was simply some gold spray onto the tube metal legs. La Redoute had this amazing desk but sadly it was too wide for my alcove, so I gave my IKEA cheap desk a makeover instead.
I've utilized the top of our radiator cover as a shelf and along there have dotted some bits and bobs I've collected over the last few months including these cute succulents, one of which is in this instagram dreamy marble pot. How stunning is it? One of my other fave pieces is my glass jar filled with all my washi tapes, but I'm also thinking it would look so good filled with sweets. Though I doubt it would stay full for long.
My pin board is one of the biggest things I've been asked about in my office. I was lucky enough to get my hands on a large piece of industrial mesh and sprayed it gold. Its simply hung on 4 nails on the wall. You can buy memo boards but they are pricey so I was lucky to bag this but I have linked some cute ones you can buy below. I'm going to go into more detail about all the little elements in my next post so do pop back to read it and let me know in the comments which pieces you'd really like to know about.
If you haven't checked out La Redoute Homeware they have £50 off £100 spend and £100 off £200 spend at the moment with the code HOME1 so its a great time to have a nosey. I'm now looking at pieces for the living room!! Somebody stop me!!
Hope you've enjoyed a nosey at my new office and do let me know what you think.
