As much as I love a party dress (as my NYE outfit post will testify) I do like a nice easy to wear trousers plus a top kinda outfit as an alternate party outfit. This F&F High neck lace top was a hit over on my instagram  and was featured in my F&F Instagram takeover. I think it was pretty popular as it sold out online but I have linked some similar picks in the widget at the bottom of the post. I’ve teamed it with a gorgeous teal faux suede trench which thanks to this mild weather is the perfect coat AND its down to £20 now in the sale. Its gorgeous, I love the colour so much and its not one you see me in often plus the material is so soft. I like the pop of blue it gives the all black outfit.  The coated jeans are a new purchase and were inspired by the lovely Lydia. I spotted her in some coated jeans on her snapchat and she said they were a good double for leather so I picked up a pair in the sale and she’s so right! The look of a leather trouser with more comfort and cheaper too. This pair were down to £19 such a bargain, they are back up to £28 now but I’ve linked some others below too.
The gold block heels were also a popular choice on Instagram and they too are a bargain in the sale at the moment. I love the chunky heel and the flash of gold ties them in great the cute crossbody bag which is also F&F!

I’m definitely packing this top for NYC I think it will be perfect for drinks out one night although I suspect I will be wearing a much thicker coat.

Whats everyone up to tonight for NYE? We’ve decided to opt for a night in with chinese and keep it low key. We’re kinda saving all our money for holiday so I’m not too fussed.
I’ve been tweeting out for recommendations for things to do / places to eat in NYC so if you have any or any top tips, please let me know in the comments and of course let me know if you like to wear an alternative party outfit like me?

And have a fabulous New Year and see you in 2016 when I’ll be posting some of my favourite looks from the blog this year.
