Honeymoon Outfits #4 – Dressed for Dinner

Dress – Quiz ClothingFinding this dress became like a mission before I went away. I’d seen it online after attending a blogger event where Quiz had a stand. Its very different to anything I would normally wear and I don’t usually like strapless dresses but I loved the lemon colour and the jewel detail on the bust and I decided I NEEDED it for our honeymoon dinner on the beach. After hunting high and low, as the dress was in the sale, I found one.
It has amazing pleating to the bust and is a beautiful floaty chiffon. Sadly not many people in the resort dressed up at night so I was one pretty overdressed lady at times, but who cares! I was on my honeymoon and wanted to wear something nice every night.

Sitting on this beach and drinking wine seems a world away now and the dress will no doubt get put away with my summer things as I’m not sure I’ll wear it again this year.
Isn’t it always the way when you covet something for weeks and weeks, when you finally get it, you’ve run out of time to wear it!!!

Today we’re off to a 70th birthday dinner and drinks and I am excited to catch up with some friends and dress up in something nice (as opposed to my onesie which I’ve had on all weekend)
I’ve actually borrowed my outfit for today instead of buying something new, its what one of my friends wore to my wedding and I liked it so much I asked to borrow it. I will try and get the other half to photograph it before we go.
