Today's post is all about Simple ways to style Summer Metallics. I love metallic textures and shades and although you might associate sequins and colours like gold or silver with Christmas parties, worn correctly you can totally rock them all over the summer months.
For me the key is choosing the right metallic pieces and keeping the colours you choose pale; think blush pink and gold colours and pale silver.  A sequin tee like this Next blush sequin top worn with ripped jeans is such a cute summer metallic look. I'd wear this to an afternoon BBQ or party, and the denim keeps the outfit from being too dressy.  I adore the drop back detail of this top, so pretty and great for showing off your summer tan eh?

The important thing with this sequin top is the small delicate sequins which keeps it summer suitable and the mix of colours make this top really shimmer in the sun.  This sequin bomber is also a great summer sequin piece which would work so well with this casual jeans combo. I've worn it with delicate rose gold bracelet and gold drop earrings which matches the metallic feel of the whole look.

Adding a metallic accessory into your everyday look is a great way just to add a hint of metal. I  love this gold satchel which is one of the big handbag shapes for summer and in a gorgeous metallic hue. I also love this sequin scallop bag which is just beautiful too and would jazz up any outfit.

I love my flats and these gold square toe ballerinas are a gorgeous colour with a snakeskin texture to them which I just adore. The square toe is a bit different for me but the metallic colour makes them dressy enough for nights out as well as days.  A simple pair of gold or silver flats is a brilliant way to wear metallics this summer.

I've teamed all three gorgeous metallic items together in one look, proof that you can mix and match metallic tones and textures too. I've linked below some of my other fave metallic pieces from the High Street if you fancy adding some into your Summer wardrobe.
