It was my works barbecue on Friday and I knew this was the perfect opportunity to wear this gorgeous little embroidered jacket. It’s a brilliant dupe for the Zara embroidered jacket that promptly sold out. I saw the original Zara one on a couple of peoples Instagram and was desperate to have it but I don’t have a Zara near me and couldn’t find it online. Thankfully I found this cheaper alternative on the website Shein. I never saw the Zara one in the flesh but I don’t think this version is that far off at all. It has gorgeous blue embroidery all over and lovely tassel end ties to do it up. I picked a Medium which I would say is a 8 – 10 so size up if you want a looser or bigger fit. I had lots of compliments on it on the night and I’m glad I finally got to wear it.
I have a few bits from Shein and think its a great place to grab a bargain if you don’t mind waiting a couple of weeks for delivery. I’ve linked some of my favourite Shein picks in the widget at the bottom of this post. My advice is to always size up as the sizing is very very small. I tend to pick a medium which is fine for me for most things but if I want a very loose fit I tend to choose a Large.
I’ve had a bit of a break from blogging recently due to my day job being so incredibly busy but I’m glad to be getting back on it and I’ve lots of outfits/posts planned over the next few weeks including some snaps from my upcoming holiday. We’re going in a couple of weeks and we haven’t decided where yet but plan to book it right at the last minute. I’d like somewhere hot and not too long a flight out. It also can’t be too pricey as we are saving for our New York trip in January 2016.
If anyone has any suggestions I’d love to know them – let me know in the comments.
