I was so excited this weekend to just relax and chill out. Last weekend at LFW was great but very cold and tiring and I had to work too so knowing I had no work this weekend was great. I went to an amazing birthday party in London on Saturday which was packed full of friends I havent seen in ages and was a brilliant night full of food, drink, singing and laughter. It was so wonderful.

Sunday we were just lovely and domestic, bit of food shopping and walking the dog, what could be better?? My new coat of choice for taking Eddie out is this lovely Joules Coast coat. Its from their womens raincoat collection and is designed to keep you lovely and dry. Well it wasn’t raining, which I am very happy about as it was so lovely to see the sun, so I couldn’t test drive it fully. But it certainly kept me warm, it might have been sunny but it was actually blummin freezing!! Its a really cute coat, I love the striped lining in the hood and all the details like the cord and toggles. They also do a coral one which I was soooo tempted by but navy is such a wearable colour so I chose that instead.

The rest of Sunday was spent getting all my summer wardrobe down from the loft as I am off to Egypt and I’ve started planning my packing already! I bought so many nice summery things last year and never really wore them so they are all getting packed. Plus about 6 bikinis! Is that too many?? I love wearing different styles so I always pack loads. Plus I have a feature in conjunction with George at Asda coming up on the blog showing how I’m going to accessorize 3 pieces of swimwear for 7 days of holiday so I’m going to have lots of choices.  I’m also hoping to post my holiday essentials in a blog post too so keep a eye out for both of those.

Hope you had a great weekend. What did you all get up to??

How do you find the joules coat fits?
I’m usually a 10 but wondering would a 12 be better to get clothes under wouldn’t want it to look like I’ve been swamped!

      Hi Amanda

I usually buy a 12 in a coat as I like to wear a large jumper under it but this was ok maybe slightly short in the sleeve for me. I actually gave the coat to my mum recently, who is a ten and it fits her perfectly with a jumper under. Hope that helps?
