Recreate Celeb Style – The Golden Globes 2015

January 15, 2015 5 Comments

My recreate celeb style posts used to be some of my most popular posts on the blog and one of my blog resolutions for 2015 was to do more of them again this year. What better way to start than with this weeks Golden Globes.
So here are my High Street suggestions for recreating some of the best looks from Sundays Red Carpet.
Emma Stone
I loved Emma Stones embellished Lavin jumpsuit it was a gorgeous choice for her. This Sequin Bustier Jumpsuit is a beautiful embellished piece from Michelle Keegan’s collection at Littlewoods and has that lovely balance of masculine and pretty.

Jessica Chastain
Jessica was most definitely channeling Jessica Rabbit in this stunning metallic Versace number. If you love the gold foil texture of this look try this Biba Foil Maxi Dress from House of Fraser.
*

Amy Adams
Some people were divided on their opinions on Amy’s asymmetric Versace dress but I just loved the pale blue colour and the pleating detail. This Anoushka G dress at House of Fraser is a perfect match for this dress in its shape and it comes in 4 colours if pale blue isn’t your shade!
*

Sienna Miller
Sienna’s Miu Miu dress was hands down my favourite of the night. I loved the detailing on it, the stunning mess back and the plunge neck with her cropped blonde bob were all pretty much perfection to me. Sadly this dress is pretty hard to match but this Needle & Amp dress at Asos has some of the feel of Siennas dress with its boho beaded embellishments and blush and silver tones.

Emily Blunt
A great spot on match here for Emily Blunts white Michael Kors dress, with its keyhole detail and wrap bodice this Asos Pleated maxi is a snip of the price too.
*

Lena Dunham
Now Lena’s dress was not my favourite of the night. I love the colour but its so ill fitting on her I’m not sure it does her any favours. However this Asos Premium Cut Out Midi dress has an amazing shape to it with its full skirt and also is a gorgeous red colour too.

Michelle Monagh
Michelle’s Jason Wu dress is quite a simple and classic choice but I love the intricate beading detail. This Debut at Debenhams sequin cami dress has some of that amazing detail and is half price in the sale too!!
