New Year and a 28 day Challenge Resolution

Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a brilliant night. We decided to have a party at our house and this is my NYE outfit. I was kindly sent some New Look vouchers to choose some items to show on the blog and I  picked up this stunning sequin skirt in the sale for an amazing £7. I’ve been looking for a sequin skirt for ages and this one is a lovely gold/pink colour.

The party was great, lots of cava, lots of food and some dancing too hence my flats. I decided to wear my new Jenny Packham necklace that my fiancé bought me. Its on a ribbon chain and is gold with flowers and diamanté and is so beautiful. I own such a huge amount of jewellery and only ever wear the same few pieces so with the start of the New Year I have decided to set myself a 28 day challenge along with a few other personal New Years resolutions.

So for 28 days I will wear a different necklace every day and blog a summary on a Sunday of my week of jewellery. As I spent New Years Day in my pyjamas I’m going to use my Jenny Packham as number one (Technically I was wearing it on January 1st till about 3am!!!) 

I also want to try and make an effort to wear more of the clothes that  I haven’t worn in ages and more varied outfits for work. This most likely means getting up earlier in the morning to give myself more time to get ready, which will be a challenge in itself. I also want to make an effort to drink more water as we all know the benefits of that.

Finally I really want to try and stop biting my nails so I have stopped wearing my fakes to give my nails a chance to recover and grow.
