As 2013 approaches its nice to look back over a great year. I’ve done some amazing things this year and been to some great events and met some lovely people.
Here’s a look back at my highlights of 2012.
In April my dream to own a dog came true when we rehomed our beautiful Eddie, a 9 year old Jack Russell who had lots of skin problems and patches of no fur at all. His ears were so badly infected he couldn’t shake his head properly. Within weeks of proper antibiotics and lots of love his coat is shiny and he has so much energy.
I’ve wanted a dog my entire life so April for me was the best month of the year.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Olympics too and standing and waiting for the Olympic torch to pass was (rainy) but fun too.
In September I finally plucked up the courage to go to London Fashion Week. I saw some amazing shows and had a fantastic time.
I wrote my Beginners Guide to LFW trying to help others to get there next time as well as What I Wore
See my Bang On Style LFW posts here
In November it was my Best friends wedding and I was a bridesmaid. It was such a wonderful day and I felt so lucky to be a part of it.
And December was a busy month at work but my Christmas at home was lovely and a great end to the year.
How was your 2012? What have been the highlights?
How are you celebrating the end of the year??

Wow, seriously an AMAZING year. Eddie is adorable and how amazing was it being stage manager for HMS Belfast on this special day, truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Thank you for the beginners guide to LFW, I am going to go next year I think with my Mum and it scares me, like someone will turn round and point at me (as the music stops and everyone looks at me in dramatic fashion) “Janine, you are a big fat fraud, you should not be here, get out!” oh how dramatic my imagination is lol, but I am sure you understand what I mean? Well I hope so otherwise you will be like who is this weirdo writing on my blog, delete her quick lol!
My highlight of 2012 was learning to windsurf (I have MS so any sporting activity I can manage always pleases me, most things I can do seem to revolve around water, my Mum thinks I was a mermaid in a past life aw gotta love Mums lol) and also maybe my new boss telling me she was proud of me and that I am going to go far. That might sound like a small thing but in the past I have always been undervalued and given so much to whoever I have worked for so to have it recognised is a wonderful thing, I actually really like my boss, how many people can say that?! wow :) We are going to a gastro pub in the hills of the Pennines to a James Bond ball/disco thing. I will be putting my outfit on my blog tomorrow, can’t wait to get glammed up. OK I will stop rambling on now lol.
Love your blog!
Happy New Year
