New in my Wardrobe for Spring

March 15, 2018 4 Comments

Even though the weather has been awful; snow, rain and freezing cold which has stopped me from getting outside and getting some good outfit shots, it hasn't stopped me from buying some new bits for my Spring wardrobe. I thought I'd share with you some of the items new in my wardrobe for Spring including of course a brand new jumpsuit.

New in my Wardrobe for Spring

I love as good pair of dungarees and I bought these ASOS dungarees a while ago. I love the relaxed fit and the mid wash blue colour. They are so perfect for lazing around at the weekend and of course go perfectly with my fave footwear - trainers! I think the key to a great pair of dungarees is that they have that lovely loose look but do fit snug around the waistband which these ones do and I bought a size 10.

Well worth the price.

So you may think I have way too many jumpsuits in my wardrobe but when I spotted this New Look floral jumpsuit I snapped it up to wear it on my birthday. I love the print which is a mixture of polka dots and floral which is so perfect for Spring. The shape with the wrap front is very similar to my all time favourite Wallis jumpsuit and I really like the culotte leg too. My only quibble is it is quite low cut but I've been wearing a little lacy cami underneath which looks lovely. I bought a size 10.

I spotted this tee on a mannequin in H&M this week and just had to buy it. I cannot for the life of me find it online to link I'm afraid but its brand new in store I believe and was £8.99 so a blummin bargain. I bought a Small.

I love absolutely anything stars related so this is my perfect tee. I love the drawn quality of it and it has a tiny bit of sparkle too. Its a great tee for like this with jeans, but also can't wait to wear it under my pink blazer.

new in my wardrobe zara striped jeans

I spotted these stripe side jeans in Zara when I was in London for LFW and as I didn't have any jeans of this style snapped them up. I loved the cropped fit and the sporty vibe but also I'm a big fan of Zara denim. I find the prices reasonable and I know what size I am so can buy with out trying on.

Side stripe denim is pretty big this Spring so I've linked some other ones I've spotted on my travels.

Topshop floral polka dot blouse tie front

Clearly I have a thing for this polka dot and floral print fabric as I also bought this jacquard floral tie front top a while back too. Again it is quite low cut AND cropped to boot. Not only is it not the weather for crop tops but I rarely bare my midriff these days ha ha so again I'm wearing a little lace cami under it which works great. I just fell in love with the print so snapped it up before it sold out, which is has done several times. It does keep coming back  into stock and is online in a few sizes right now. I think this will be so nice for summer too with denim cut offs and sandals.

Chunky hoop earrings are another big trend for Spring and I fancied seeing if I could pull off a pair without looking too pirate like and these H&M hoops were a great affordable pair to test this out and I love them. They look great with my baker boy hat and I'm actually thinking I might like a pair in silver too.

zara pointed flat shoes

I actually own these Zara shoes in the heeled version which I loved the colour and the pointed black toe cap design, very Chanel esq but I never actually really wore them because of the heel so imagine my happiness when I spotted they had released them in a flats version!

Such a good price at £20 and the heeled version have promptly gone into my sell pile. A great goes with everything shoe and I'm hoping I'll get much more wear of these ones.

That's just a few of the bits new in my wardrobe for Spring. Fingers crossed I have some good weather to wear them all. Let me know what you've been buying too, I'd love to know?

I’m in love with these shoes!! and you made me want to break out my hoop earrings, I need to get back to the habit of wearing ear rings, I fell out of it when I had my kids. Love the pieces you chose.
