STYLE | Four Ways to wear the mac.

I was in London the other day and spotted this amazing mac coat in New Look. I know the mac is a pretty classic wardrobe staple but I don't actually own a plain beige mac or trench coat like this. I'm trying now to think before I buy a coat or a larger clothing purchase to think of four things I could wear it with to avoid my "buying things and not wearing them" that I talked about in my post. I came up with so many outfit ideas that I decided to share my favourite ways to wear the mac on the blog. So here they are.

I love a good striped look and as I already have this super cute eyelash striped top and a white pair of wide leg jeans I think this look is one I can recreate so easily. I love the Parisian vibes of the whole outfit. A classic mac is a very french staple to have in your wardrobe and the dreamy red statement earrings just finish it all off so well. The round bag is one accessory I don't have yet and this mock croc round bag is cute one and a really good price too.

When I picture how I'd wear this mac coat this is definitely the kind of look I'd wear the most.  The sporty casual look is so easily worn and I adore this green slogan tshirt with the flash of green on the black joggers.  Of course what else would I wear with this but trainers, its the perfect weekend look.

A mac is so versatile it will team great with a dress too. I love it with this Floral midi dress, the length is perfect and I'd wear it with my black boots, a red bag to bring out the red in the dress and a cute pair of earrings.

Last up for a pop of colour I'd love to wear the mac with a bright yellow like this striped top and the yellow bag I spotted in Topshop a few weeks ago would go gorgeous with the look too. These mom jeans with flower embroidery would be so cute with this look and then a simple pair of cream shoes.

Ok well I've convinced myself there are soooo many ways to wear the mac so I 'm definitely going to add one to my wardrobe. Let me know which look is your fave and if you have a mac coat in your coat collection??
