I'm back with another big DIY post. This is a Valentines themed post and features 5 really easy DIY valentines gifts that you can make and give to a loved one and all of them are super easy and really cheap to make. Of course there's a gold and marble theme running throughout and a mix of gifts that would work for men and women.
There's a quick step by step for each and a kit list at the bottom.
GOLD PAINTED DOT HEART MUG

STEP ONE
Cut a heart shape from your sticky back pvc.
Stick in your desired position on a plain unpatterned mug.

STEP TWO
Using a porcelain pen in gold, apply dots around the heart.
Overlap the dots on the plastic shape.

STEP THREE
Leave to dry for 8 hours, then carefully remove the heart. You may need to score around it to prevent lifting up any overlapping dots.
Bake in the oven as per pens instructions.

MODERN MARBLE PAINTED CUPS

STEP ONE
Using tape mark out your design and cover up any areas you don't want to get paint on.

STEP THREE
Add lines using a sharpie pen and gold porcelain pen. I used new tape to help keep lines straight.
Bake in the oven as per pens instructions.

GOLD HEART MASON JAR VALENTINES GIFT

STEP ONE
Cut out a heart shape from your sticky pvc.
Stick to a washed and dried jar in your desired position.
Spray the jar and lid with primer.

STEP TWO
Tape the neck of the jar and protect inside of jar by stuffing with paper or kitchen roll.
Once dry spray with gold.

STEP THREE
Spray thin even coats.
Once dry score around the heart shape & peel off.
Fill with sweets & tie with ribbon adding a gift tag.

GOLD PAINTED DOT WINE GLASSES

STEP ONE
Wash and dry glasses, you can use champagne flutes too.
Using glass paint and a cotton bud paint dots on the base of the glass.
Start with large dots and then get smaller and wider gaps as you head up the glass.

STEP TWO
Paint the other glass to match.
Leave to dry, no baking needed.

MARBLE AND GOLD FRAME DIY

STEP ONE
Using marble sticky back pvc apply one solid piece to a box frame.
Trim carefully with a craft knife.

STEP TWO
Once trimmed add gold washi tape to the corners and trim with the knife or scissors.
Print out a quote or image for inside the frame.

Hope this easy DIY valentines gifts post inspires you to make your Valentines gift this year, I'd love to know your favourite and please do let me know if you try any of these out.
