embroidered top DIY

Today's post is a Floral Embroidered Top Diy. I spotted this gorgeous embroidered top in New Look and thought how easy it would be to recreate this piece at home. This DIY is so simple and quick to do, plus its bang on trend for Spring cheaper than the High Street price. This method uses a non iron on applique but of course you can buy ready to iron on ones which is even easier!! You'll also find links to other floral appliques at the bottom of the post.

For those of you that don't fancy the DIY option then you can opt for BUY and shop lots of embroidered items at the end of the post.

STEP TWO

Decide if you would like to use the whole applique. I decided to trim mine slightly.

Put the top on and lay the applique where you would like it. Look in a mirror to judge.
