Spring is heading our way and there are so many new season pieces and trends I can’t wait to wear especially tropical prints and acid brights, but I thought I’d share five Spring trends to buy and wear now.

EMBROIDERY
First up is embroidery. Embroidery was everywhere for Autumn Winter and its still going strong for SS17 but with lighter colours and patterns. Start wearing this trend now with an embroidered mac or floral sleeve biker jacket which you can layer over knitwear whilst its still cold and swap to over a blouse or tee when it starts to warm up. This embroidered box bag is a brilliant buy as it will rock the embroidery trend AND mini bag trend too!
MINI BOX BAGS
I LOVE a mini bag so I’m pretty excited that the box bag is going to be the shape to have for Spring Summer 17. The style is really reminiscent of the Furla bag but if you want to rock this trend and on a High Street budget then you have so many to choose from. My faves are the a fore mentioned embroidered bag and the mini python box bag from New Look. Both will work with your darker Winter wardrobe palette right now plus totally transition into Spring and Summer.
UTILITY JACKETS
The shacket is back ladies and gentlemen and I am so happy. All things utility are going to be the way forward for Spring Summer. Wear the utility style lightweight jacket now by layering it with knitwear and a chunky scarf or wear it like a shirt and under your Winter coat. My personal faves are the tan suedette shacket and the gorgeous embellished khaki jacket from River Island.
CINCH WAIST BELTS
The shape of things to come is most definitely hourglass. Creating that cinched in waist shape with belts with an almost corset feel is how we’ll all be wearing our shirts and dresses come Spring Summer. Buy the Retro London belt and wear over a jumper or jumper dress right now.
SLOGAN AND BAND TEES
Love them or hate them band and slogan tees are going to be even more popular this Spring Summer. Wear this cute leopard MTV tee over a long sleeve polo neck whilst temps are chilly and wear it under a black or white blazer when its warm enough.
