Its finally time to wear scarves! Now I'm not happy about the night getting darker and the days being colder but I do love it when its time to wear a nice big scarf. There's nothing nicer than wrapping a lovely warm scarf around your neck to add a cosy layer to an easy Autumn outfit. This beauty of a check scarf is from the GAP Outlet over at The Brewery Centre, Romford.
I headed over there at the weekend to do some shopping and picked up quite a few bits from the new Autumn Winter collections. I hadn't ever bought much from GAP before I discovered this outlet store but everything there is up to 40% off the rrp so you can pick up some great bargains and you all know how much I love a bargain!
I liked how they had some brilliant layering examples on display with polo necks, shirts, jackets and jumpers all layered up together and with scarves, belts etc too. I took inspo from this and layered up my GAP stripey jumper with a contrasting striped polo and a simple black biker jacket, plus of course the scarf too. I love how long the sleeves are on this jumper, though I did buy it in a medium so it was nice and over sized.
I also was pretty impressed by the denim selection at the Gap Outlet and picked up these jeans in the shape Real Straight. They fit so well and are really comfy. I love a straight fit vs skinny as I like a looser fit but there were so many styles and shades to choose from. Again I haven't tried GAP denim before but so far I am a fan. I'll be interested to see how they wash and wear as I think that's the true test of denim but if all goes well I'd head back to the Outlet to buy more shades.
You might also notice I'm rocking a red lip which is quite rare for me. This is one of the Collection Velvet Lip creams which I discovered at The Apartment at LFW and its a lush coral red colour. I really like the texture and the staying power so BIG thumbs up from me.
Can't wait to style up more easy Autumn outfit posts and do let me know what your fave thing about Autumn is?? Are you a scarf lover like me?
