Today's post is a Pom Pom Sandals DIY. This DIY is so simple and quick to do, and will jazz up the most boring sandals. Plus its bang on trend for summer too at a fraction of the High Street price. I've used a pair of my old tan toe post sandals but strappy or gladiator style would work great too!
you will need
ONE PAIR OF PLAIN SANDALS
small multi coloured pom poms
glue gun & sticks
piece of card, pen & sandpaper
FIND THE CENTRE POINT OF THE SANDALS AND MARK WITH A PEN ON BOTH SHOES.
LAY OUT YOUR POM POMS AND PLAN YOUR COLOUR ORDER.
TURN ON YOUR GLUE GUN.
SIT IT ON THE PIECE OF CARDBOARD TO PROTECT YOUR SURFACE.
USE THE SANDPAPER TO SLIGHTLY ROUGHEN UP THE AREA YOU ARE GOING TO GLUE
SQUEEZE A DOT OF GLUE IN THE CENTRE
PUT THE GLUE ON THE SANDAL NOT THE POM POM
PRESS THE CENTRE POM POM ON TO THE GLUE
CAREFUL THE GLUE IS HOT!
WORK YOUR WAY ALONG THE SANDAL APPLYING A MEDIUM DOT OF GLUE AND PRESSING EACH POM POM ON.
REPEAT THE PROCESS FOR THE OTHER SANDAL WITH THE COLOURS GOING THE OPPOSITE WAY
