Cambridge Belfry Spa Day

I love a good spa day. I don't think there's anything better than having a swim, having a facial and just generally relaxing. I visited the Cambridge Belfy Spa a few weeks ago with my sister for their Relax & Recharge day and it was absolute bliss. The day included a 50 minute treatment, an ESPA gift, light lunch, access to all the spa and pool facilities and a robe and slippers each.

We arrived and were quickly checked in and chose our lunch from the preset menu. We also had the opportunity to choose our 50 minute treatment from the list of treatments and we both opted for the Relaxing Face and Back Ritual with ESPA. After a quick change we headed straight for the pool.

After a lovely swim in the pool which was lovely and quiet we enjoyed the jacuzzi for a while too which was a little busier and also tried out the steam room and sauna. The jacuzzi was great but a tiny bit tricky to get into as it had no steps leading to it. Once in though it was lovely and hot and bubbly and the perfect place to have a natter and relax.

We then headed for lunch. We opted to eat outside as it was such a lovely day but the restaurant also looked gorgeous. We ate sandwiches with chips and soup on the side and then I had the yummiest Eaton Mess dessert!! The food was really good.

After lunch we headed for our treatments. The treatment started with back exfoliation followed by a back massage. Then after turning over finished with a gorgeous facial and head massage. It was absolutely lovely and so relaxing and I was able to choose all the oils used with scents that I liked. After the treatments we relaxed in the relaxation room which was my favourite place.  The room was dark and lovely and warm with comfy chairs with fluffy blankets, relaxing music and the perfect place to chill out. There was also a little tea making area so you could enjoy fruit teas or water after your treatment to keep you hydrated.

I enjoyed my visit to the Cambridge Belfry Spa. Everyone was so friendly and the treatments and pool etc were lovely. We were given a gorgeous ESPA gift to take away as part of the day package and I can't wait to use the products at home for myself.

I think the pool area could do with some more beds to lie around and read and slightly better access to the jacuzzi would be good but for me the treatments and relaxation room are what makes this spa.

I definitely recommend visiting if you are after a lovely spa day or break. Bear in mind that weekdays are much quieter so you'll find more spaces in the jacuzzi etc. Plus as the Belfry is a hotel you do find hotel guests are in and around the restaurant etc whilst you wander in your dressing gown. I don't mind this but just something to bear in mind. I would definitely go back though.

Thanks so much to the Belfry for having us.

I could do use a Spa Day!
This looks wonderful. I’m not sure if it’s a Spa thing, but the last Spa jacuzzi I visited also didn’t have steps.. how weird.
The food looks so yummy. It’s always good to get a day package and sample everything they have to offer and a free gift is always a bonus! :)
