Regular readers of my blog might remember I reviewed some Aldi Lacura skincare previously on the blog. I was pretty impressed and my personal fave was the Wrinkle Stop which was truly amazing and I’m so so sad you can’t buy it anymore. It honestly was my holy grail product and I would have bought hundreds of tubes had I known they were going to discontinue it. So when Aldi asked me to do an Aldi Caviar Skincare Review on the range I was more than happy to try them out.
Designed for slightly maturer skin (35+) the ingredients include caviar, snow algae and the magic anti ageing ingredient Hyaluronic Acid. It claims to make skin luminous and radiant and of course reduce wrinkles and the usual anti ageing promises. I tried out both the day and the night cream.
I loved the packaging. It was very luxe and expensive looking and both pots were 50ml so plenty of product for its price of £6.99. I preferred these creams to the previous ones I tried from Lacura as they had a milder scent and I’m not a huge fan of strong scented moisturizers. The day cream is rich and lovely consistency which did leave my skin feeling soft not greasy and I’m really pleased to say much more radiant. In fact it gave a lovely glow under my foundation from my very first use of it.
The night cream is richer but still had all the benefits of the day cream and wasn’t so rich that I broke out in spots. This has happened to be before with anti ageing cream designed for mature skin as I am at the much lower end of the age bracket, but these didn’t have that effect at all. I really loved them both and have been continuing to use them every day. And I think I will definitely repurchase them too. I’d love for them to bring out an instant wrinkle filler product like the Wrinkle Stop again but for now I’m really happy to have discovered this range.

I have been using both day & night cream. I have to stop using as it made my eyes watery and very sore.
OOh thats not good. I have quite sensitive skin and had no problems, but everyone’s skin is different xx
That used to happen to me until I swapped the day cream to the night cream x
So why do you think these products are SO much cheaper Debs than the ‘real thing’? Bulk purchases or cheap ingredients?
And to also take into consideration that the cosmetic industry marks up their products up to 400%!
Is this available everywhere? I haven’t seen anything like that at my local Aldi…
