My Holiday Essentials

Here’s a sneak peek at a few of the must have holiday items I’m packing for my hols and why they’re my holiday essentials.

Firstly I’m of course taking my Olympus Pen EPL7 and strap. Its the perfect holiday camera with of course the flip down screen for perfect round the pool selfies and the built in wi-fi so you can transfer your pictures straight to your smart phone giving you the chance to get them on instagram whilst still away and really make your friends jealous!

To go with my camera I now have the brilliant addition of a high memory SD card. This one is a 32gb  Pro Card designed for photo’s and HD video from My Memory*. Perfect for all my holiday pictures and videos. It also came with a USB card reader included too!

For lying by the pool I had to pack my cute George Flamingo Bikini and mirrored sunglasses from Primark. I’ve actually packed about 5 pairs of sunglasses which is possibly excessive and I always pack a bikini in my hand luggage, just in case of wayward suitcases!

In case of sunburn I’m testing out Superdrug’s Solait Aftersun gel with aloe vera. I always use Banana boats so I thought I would give this one a go.

Pool side music comes courtesy of these White Sony Headphones*, which not only look pretty damn sleek but they fold flat so save you space on your packing too!

To keep my phone running, especially if we go out for the day, I’m packing my iWalk portable charger*. which can charge two devices at once and give my iPhone up to 2 full charges. Its smaller than the one I already had so perfect to pop in my bag.

For some simple foot wear I’m packing these jewelled flip flops from Matalan. They’re light, can be worn in the day or dressed up at night and at the bargain price of £3 I bought the white too.

Beauty wise I’m packing the new MUA Elysium Palette, it has a lovely mix of matte and pearl shades in lovely warm tones, plus an eye liner and highlighter pencil in there too. I’m also packing my fave matte H&M bronzer and my new favourite foundation from the BD Trade Secrets collection at Tesco. See my post all about the BD range here

and my new coral nail polish from the George Beauty collection too for nice bright holiday feet!

I’m also packing an extra pack of my favourite Primark nails, just in case!!

All my holiday bits are being packed in my new tote bag from the Matalan sale. Perfect size to carry everything and a great bargain at £10.
