Standout Prints Part 1 feat Voucher Codes

October 1, 2014 3 Comments
My post today is all about styling Standout prints for the coming Autumn and Winter and how to easily style the trend into your wardrobe. Vouchercodes.co.uk have kindly helped me out with a budget to pick a few key pieces to style up some printed looks.
In this the first of my posts I’ve chosen florals as my first print. I blummin love florals and especially wearing Winter florals, which tend to be deeper in colour and on richer fabrics like silk or velvet.  Florals are the easiest to wear print for anyone and come in so many varieties of style.
I’ve picked this gorgeous River Island silk blouse with a free delivery code from Voucher Codes which has the most vibrant print and a simple piece of knitwear from New Look and here are my two looks to work the floral print trend for daytime and night.

Jeans – Zara (similar here)
Boots – Primark

For daytime I’ve kept it casual with some ripped jeans and the shirt with the jumper layered over. This is a great way to wear such a vibrant print in the daytime as just the floral collar and the bottom of the shirt peek out. I’ve added simple tan boots and a flash of mint with a colourful tote bag and my much treasured Shore projects watch..

Leggings – Primark
Necklace – Fiorelli
Rings – Z for Accessorize & H&M
For night I’ve styled the shirt buttoned up to the top with a fabulous bright statement necklace under the collar. I love the clash of prints of the shirt with the shape and detail of the necklace. Wear a great pair of leather leggings or trousers to keep the look dressy and a killer pair of heels. To add some serious night time glamour I also added a fur collar to keep me warm.

These are just two looks working a standout floral print on your top half. A shirt like this is a such an easy to way to wear florals. Wear open over a simple black outfit or tucked into a high waisted skirt, the options are endless.

In my post tomorrow I’ll be styling up two more outfits but this time working a graphic print. So pop back and do let me know which floral outfit is your fave, day or night??
This post was in conjunction with voucher codes and I was provided an editorial budget to purchase items, but the looks and content have all been created by me.

I love the way you paired the necklace with the shirt. Works so well together. You did an awesome job with the styling :)

Oh hello fellow Essexian…First time here so I think it’s only polite if I leave a comment.
I actually can’t decide what do I love more…shirt, nails or the necklace. It’s all superb. :)
