An Essex Girl in Paris – Part Deux

Tailored Jumpsuit – Kaleidoscope*
Clutch bag – Primark
Pumps – New Look

I’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear this gorgeous jumpsuit for ages and dinner out in Paris seemed like the perfect occasion. Its from Kaleidoscope, which is somewhere I wouldn’t normally have shopped but I adored the wide leg shape and net detail of this jumpsuit. When it arrived its such beautiful quality and it fits like an absolute dream. It has a sweetheart neckline under a cute polka dot patterned net overlay and thin belt detail too. I wore it with simple bright flats to keep it a bit more casual for Paris and a similar colour clutch from Primark which I spotted on Hayley from Frock Me I’m Famous‘ instagram
Plus I took the opportunity to wear my stunning Citizen watch. Its from the new Drive collection and is so pretty. It has an embossed pattern on the face which hasn’t quite captured in the photos but makes it really feminine and a bit different. Plus its from the Eco-Drive range which means it never needs a battery and is powered by light – how cool is that??

You might notice too – for anyone that follows me on Twitter, that my disastrous hair has been sorted out and is looking sooooooo much better. For those of you that don’t know I asked for soft ombre and I ended up with 90’s highlights. Thank you to Grant at Colour Nation for squeezing me in  before I went away and managing to soften the whole look and make it so so much better.

As you might have noticed the outfit photos are in a very rare indoor location and this was because the lobby of our hotel in Paris was so pretty and unusual I had to have some photos in there.
The hotel was called Hotel Josephine and was so quirky and colourful I loved it. It had an eclectic mix of furniture and lights in the foyer and the most amazing patterned sofa!

We also had a gorgeous bedroom with ornate green wallpaper, bright retro furniture and some cool quirky features like the wall lights and the bright bathroom. Plus we had a little balcony too which I was so over the moon with and had to take the opportunity to have a few photos out there too.

The hotel was a stones throw from the Moulin Rouge and right near lots of restaurants, cafe’s and coffee shops. All the staff were so lovey and friendly and I would highly recommend the Hotel if you fancy somewhere quirky and cool to stay in Paris.

Hope you enjoyed my second Paris post – later this week will be another outfit post and a bit more about what we did in the day, plus a Paris Haul post coming very soon too.
