Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – Monday Review

April 14, 2014 2 Comments
This is my first foray into Too faced products and I bought their Better Than Sex Mascara after hearing a couple of good things on Twitter. I think the packaging is so beautiful, I love the pink and gold. The packaging is full of claims that 100% saw Dramatic Volume and 100% saw Longer Lashes amongst other claims so I couldn’t wait to try.
The wand is a standard shape and a large size and comes out pretty fully covered but on occasion a bit clumpy. It definitely gives a very thick coverage that’s much more night out lashes than everyday for me. BUT – for a night out it did make my lashes look fuller and longer with ones coat, even better with two coats and it definitely creates a really dramatic look, so for that I love it.

My usual mascara is Benefits They’re Real which has a more natural coverage but takes so much work to get off at night which I find annoying. This mascara has a thicker coverage but comes off easier – go figure!!
I love it. I have been wearing it non stop for blog outfit posts and outside of work for nights out. Its a top end product costing £20 but I reckon it will last me ages and it is a product that achieves its claims too. I think I would treat myself to another one when this ones runs out if my purse can afford it.

I was also given a sample of Too Faced powder primer and bronzer so keep your eye out for another Too Faced review soon.

Well if anything would make me buy it…its the packaging. Lovely! It looks pretty on you. I am not a fan of the benefit mascara at all. I thinks its really clumpy on me and I feel like I am weakening my lashes when I am trying to take it off. This sounds good if it is easily removable x

This mascara looks great, I quite like the clumpy look. Ahh £20 is a bit pricey but I really want to try it x
