Maybelline Color Show Street Artist – Monday Review

March 3, 2014 1 Comment
I discovered Maybelline’s new Street Artist Top Coats at London Fashion Weekend where they had a stand and I got my nails painted in all four shades. Although sadly not on sale there I promptly tracked them down in a larger Boots store and bought three of the four shades – and they were 3 for 2 at the moment!!
The amazing thing about these top coats is how much they look like paint splatters, they are made up of multi sized pieces and a mix of two colours. The pictures don’t do these polishes justice, I had so many comments on my nails after I had them painted with this. The three shades I bought are Urban vibe which is orange and black, Alley Attitude which is blue and black and Boom Box Black which is a lime green and black. There is also White Splatter which has white and lilac colours in – you can see this in the photo of the full hand, but I preferred the black ones.
All of them go on really easily with more of a pat motion than a swipe but are super layerable and you can mix colours too. My favourite is the Boom Box Black as the lime colour is gorgeous.
These have to be one of my most favourite top coats ever! Its so nice to use something different than a standard glitter and these polishes have a wicked urban edge.
Have you tried Maybelline’s Street Artist?? Which is your favourite?
