Naked palette swatches

I picked up this little nude eyeshadow palette by W7 when at Home Bargains as it looked lovely and matte and I liked the colours. I own several nude / neutral  eyeshadow palettes including MUA Heaven and Earth, Urban Decay Naked 2 and the Sleek I-Divine neutral palette. Although I love the Naked 2 it is very large to travel around and this W7 mini palette is perfect for popping in your handbag.

All four colours are lovely and fairly matte with a tiny shimmer. This is really important to me, I found the MUA Heaven and Earth palette too shimmery and it also crumbled and had a lot of drop off. This W7 Naked Nudes palette doesn’t have that problem, it holds to the brush and the eye really well.
Although it doesn’t look hugely pigmented (apart from the brown) the colours are punchier on the eyelid and I especially love taupe colour (second left). The lightest colour in the centre is great for the corner of the eye and highlighting below the brow.

Priced at £2.99 its a great buy and I’m really happy with this little palette. I think it will be great for Spring for creating a soft smoky brown eye and I really look forward to trying other W7 makeup products.
Have you tried any W7 products??

I’ve never tried anything by W7 before but the name kind of intrigues me. Do you know if it stands for anything? Gorgeous palette! Perfect for adding to any collection.
    Lovely post :)
