Last week I went to possibly the most beautiful event I’ve ever been to, held by Next. You might remember that I wrote about their lovely Press Event – See my Post about the Next Press Day here
so I knew that their Christmas Afternoon Tea would be something special but it surpassed all my expectations.

It was held in the gorgeous Browns Hotel in London and the room had been decorated so beautifully with sparkling trees, pine cones, tea lights and tartan. The tables were amazingly laid out with crackers, Christmas cards and a very festive tartan stocking and Christmas hat on every chair.
The attention to detail that the Next team had gone to was incredible and made us all feel so Christmassy. It was so lovely to chat to the team including Ellie and Gemma and some fellow bloggers over a glass of bubbly and I got to meet some bloggers in person including the fabulous Olivia from What Olivia Did, Sarah from A Million Dresses and lovely Tara from The Style Rawr

After being seated we were treated to the yummiest afternoon tea featuring sandwiches, fresh warm scones and little individual desserts. I was sat next to the lovely Annie and the gorgeous Victoria who I was so excited to chat to as I’ve read her blog for a long time and she was so lovely in person I had such a laugh sat with them both. I really liked that we were seated at the event as it gave you the chance to talk to people which often isn’t possible at other events.

The Next gang organised a game of pass the parcel on every table and afterwards we were invited to decorate our own xmas baubles and ice our little gingerbread men too. I loved that there were activities to do which helped everyone to mingle too and sit with other bloggers. I made a bauble for me and my husband for the tree and iced my gingerbread which got very smooshed on the way home.

It was such a fabulous festive event and thank you to the lovely Next girls for inviting me, they really know how to hold an event and it took me an age to narrow down the photos as there were so many great ones.

After the event me and Annie headed off to another which I will post about later in the week – so thank you to her for letting me tag along :-)
