My Hen – What I Wore Featuring my Missguided Midi

Now that the Wedding is all over and I’m finally back to blogging I thought I’d share with you some quick snaps of my Hen party and my outfit. I didn’t take my SLR out and was stuck with a rubbish compact so I apologise for the photos but I still wanted to share.

This stripe midi dress from Missguided was an absolute steal at £16.99!!! It is jersey material but is lovely and thick and not like alot of midi dresses at the moment that go nearly see through when they stretch, and it  has a PU trim round the neck and arms which toughens it up a bit. I loved the shape and the fit.

I teamed it with my H&M neon pink necklace and my black suede ankle boots which I got ages ago from a shoe shop I cant remember the name of in Lakeside.

My hen do started off with a hilarious ride in an Essex Limo’s 16 Seater Party bus.  It was huge and looked like a beast from outside. Inside it was equipped with champagne bar and glasses, led lights, sound system and lcd monitors, you can even sing karaoke on the move thanks to the built in Playstation. Its tall enough to stand up in and dance and was big enough to fit 16 people in more than comfortably.

It was a brilliant way to start off my hen and Essex Limo’s were a lovely company to deal with, calling the day before to check all details etc and decorated the bus with Hen banners and balloons. We would have loved to have booked the van for the entire night but decided to book it for a one hour slot which was just enough to pick everyone up and take us to Ipswich.

In Ipswich we had an area reserved in Revolution bar and our personal waiter for the night was an absolute star sorting us out with shots, food (even though the kitchen was closed) and helping us move everything upstairs when we all decided we wanted a dance. A brilliant night and such amazing staff.

All in all a great hen.
