This weekend the fiance and me headed over to London to go to the Rekorderlig Winter Forest Bar in Brick Lane. The pop up bar was only on for a few weeks and I booked us tickets as soon as they were released as we LOVE Rekorderlig in our house. Our fridge is always full of bottles and we’re lucky that many of the bars near us serve it too!
The tickets were a great price at £5 which included a taster plate of one swedish dish and 4 small glasses of Rekorderlig flavours. I was also lucky to be given wristbands which gave us unlimited Rekorderlig after I’d tweeted about the event too, which were much appreciated

I wore my new Izabel London dress which was gifted to me along with a couple of other items. This dress is so perfect for winter, its a lovely rich red velvet and fits lovely. I wore it with my trusty studded boots and my cosy leopard fur coat. I’m definitely going to wear this dress on Christmas day, it has that real Christmassy feel about it. I was also sent a coupe of gorgeous jumpers which I cant wait to post about too.
I also curled my hair AGAIN with my Enrapture Tote styler. I’m addicted to using it. its so easy and quick I have had my curly nearly every day recently.

The Forest bar itself was amazing. For someone like me who works in Theatre it was pretty impressive in its ambiance, set dressing and lighting. It was full of real foliage and trees with shafts of orange and yellow light that came through branches through lots of atmospheric haze.
After sampling the taster plate I decided on Orange & Ginger and the new Winter flavours as my favourites and had a big tall glass of each throughout the evening. We also tried some more of the food which although maybe a little small for our appetites was extremely tasty. Rekorderlig cocktails were also being whipped up at the bar and music pumped through the trees thanks to the resident dj.
All in all a great experience and I really hope Rekorderlig think about a Summer event which we would definitely book tickets for. We also are thinking of placing a cheeky order online for some Winter Rekorderlig and some Orange and Ginger (you can order here)

We also popped to Harrods for some early Christmas shopping and look at the lights. It was so busy and full of tourists but it was great to wander round and I bought some pressies and some cute tree decorations for our tree this year.
