This is what I wore to go and do a bit of shopping on Monday. Its a Primark blouse I bought ages ago and I cant really wear it to work as I never wear light colours just in case they get marked! A rule I broke when I wore it to do a makeup teaching job and got greasepaint on it! Its still marked and hasnt come out in 3 washes! I’m thinking of ombre dyeing it black as the mark is half way up and will get lost in the dye I think. Ive already dyed a couple of things following Gwen at This Fashion Is Mine tutorial on dip dyeing so I might give this a go. I hate it when things get marked! I have a cute neon coral top which got accidently bleached by nail polish remover so I may have to do a nifty DIY on that too!!
I went shopping to Lakeside including ikea and a quick visit to Primark. These days I set myself a budget for Primark but I decided to just see what I liked first. I went planning to buy new leggings, a tshirt dress I can wear to work so I can save my nice Topshop marl one for weekends and a couple of bandeau tops to wear under stuff.
I came away with no leggings and no tshirt dress but a load of other great sale bargains including 2 bandeau tops down to £1. I’m gonna do a Primark haul post later in the week.
As you can see I still have Union jack bunting up in my garden. I’ve left it up since a BBQ a few weeks ago as I like it – its very cheery and I’ll take it down after the Olympics. I managed to grab these pics in the garden before it poured it down again. It was a nice morning but the afternoon not so great.
I’m off work this week and so catching up on reading lots of new blogs and some shopping, inc a day out in Brighton to try and find my wedding band in an antique shop.
Thinking of my Brighton outfit already and hoping for some more sun.
