Westfield Car Bootique – What I Wore

October 1, 2011 No Comments
I went to London this week to attend a Front Cover Blogger event and a trip to Westfield too. I popped into both the Stratford one and then the one in Sheperds Bush. I had alterier motives for visiting Westfield London as they were holding a Car Bootsale style Designer event and I wanted to blog about it so I could enter Westfield’s Blogger competition.
It was a really warm day, one of the first of this random September heatwave so I wore one of my Tesco’s Clothing strappy dresses and pumps. I also wore my favourite little crochet waistcoat which I bought as a little cardi from a charity shop and cut the sleeves off.
And I of course wore my favourite Heart shaped Vintage watch necklace layered up with another vintage necklace too.
The Car Bootique event was pretty cool. See my post about it here. And as well as all the Designer displays and promotions they also had a small pop up salon doing free makeup makeovers and curling and straightening hair. I had mine curled with wide GHD’s and it gave my hair some nice movemenent and shape.
The salon was also using and promoting Macadmia Hair Oil which was one of the products in Septembers Boudoir Prive box See Boudoir Prive Box post here. The chap doing my hair told me to use a very small amount of the oil before blow drying and then a tiny bit after. He raved about it and said it was amazing so I can’t wait to use mine now.
In other news I finally relaunched my redesigned shop www.bangonvintage.co.uk and this week all my vintage sunglasses are half price to celebrate the sunshine.
Off to Brighton today for a weekend jolly in the sun and will post about the Front Cover Blogger event next week.
Have  a great weekend .
