So my first ever Boudoir Prive box arrived yesterday at work. I was so intent on blogging about it that I showed much restraint and didn’t open it until today so I could photograph it at every stage. Thankfully my friend at work also got a box so I did get to see what to expect in mine and was pretty happy.
All packaged up in the signature pink box the samples come beautifully packaged.
Inside encased in black tissue and pink ribbon were 7 sample size products and a leaflet explaining each one.
First was a bronzing/blotting paper by Mai Couture designed to deposit a small amount of golden colour and shimmer when used. I’ll be interested to try this as it seems like a clever product.

The rest included a small pot of Colbert MD Eye cream, A small sample of Agent Provocateur perfume L’Agent, a small Cargo Cosmetics Boogie Nights eye pencil (in purple), Macadamia Hair Repair oil, a pot of Tropic Skincare Body Smooth polish and a full size Zoya nail polish in Neeka which is a shimmery lilac.
A nice addition was a swatch book of all the Zoya colours.
All in all I was really happy with my Boudoir Prive September box. The nail colour is one I definitely would wear (although the denim blue colour my friend got was much more my cup of tea), the body scrub smelled lovely and lemony although it did leak quite a bit of oil on me when I opened it up and I like having small trial sizes of perfume to keep in my handbag or at work..
I think the attraction of the Boudoir Prive box is a little bit of luxury each month. I love the packaging and presentation and the feeling of love that each box is packaged with. There was a delay this month which meant boxes came out later than alot people wanted but the box was worth a wait I think. I’ve always loved little miniature toiletries the kind you get in goodie bags etc so for me its a monthly treat and a bit of a surprise to know what’ll be in it. At £10 I think its a great idea and I cant wait for my box next month too.
In other news I’m off to London Fashion Weekend tomorrow thanks to winning tickets in a competition and I’m off to Primark today to pick up some new shoes and a handbag big enough to fit my SLR camera in. Will take lots of pictures and blog about it next week.
