Wedding Outfit post 1 – The Dress

Its my brothers wedding this weekend and I have been pulling my outfit together and I thought I would post about it this week in the run up to the event.

This is the first wedding I’ve ever been to that invloves an imediate member of my family and so its taken me ages to decide what kind of outfit to wear. I had hoped to wear a vintage dress but the one I bought wasnt quite dressy enough. On my hunt I stumbled upon a shop where I live called Frippery which sells the most beautiful Vintage style accessories, jewellery and homewares but they also sell a lovely range of clothes. 

I tried on a dress which was nothing like my usual style as its baby pink but all my friends cooed so loudly when I came out of the dressing room wearing it that I bought it! It was an expensive purchase for me but my lovely other half contributed towards it too and its really worth as its beautiful quality and 100% silk.

I love the V shaped fit under the bust its really flattering and the gold prints all over make it really glam too. I’ve decided to team it with gold vintage accessories and make a gold Vintage hair comb like the ones in my Vintage Bridal Range for me to wear (post to come).
