Emergency Wardrobe – Outfit post

I went to a wonderful birthday party this weekend in a little village in Devon called Appledore. I had bought a very pretty net and lace dress for the party and we were driving to Devon on the Saturday morning and then travelling back to Essex on Sunday morning after one night in a local hotel. 

The drive down took me and the boyfriend 8 hours so at the last minute on Saturday we decided to book a hotel in Bath for Sunday night, its kinda halway home and we thought it would break up the journey and make a bit more of the weekend. 

We planned to wander Bath Sunday afternoon, have dinner out that night and drive home on Monday. However I had only packed for 2 days!! Thankfully I had thrown in some extra items but I still had to do some nifty mix and matching.

The party was great, lots of lovely bubbly, food, music and dancing.

We had a lovely dinner in a restaurant in Bath called Sally Nunn’s. It was really small and quaint and served all its food on a Sally Nunn bun.
