June Glossybox Contents and review

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the June Glossybox and its a good un so I thought I would do a little June Glossybox contents post and a review of the products that I've already tried out.

If your not familiar with Glossybox its a monthly subscription box delivered to your door containing 5 products. The best thing about Glossybox is often the products inside are full size. If you read my March Glossybox review post you'll have seen I got a full size shampoo in there as well as a full size Sleek palette! This is unlike a lot of subscription boxes and its what makes Glossybox such good value for money. Boxes start from £10 per month with £3.50 postage, but the longer you sign up for the cheaper the box gets. The price goes as low as £8.50 if you pay up front for a year!!

First thing is the June Glossybox has six products inside rather than the usual five, plus a choice of two free gift duo's for new subscribers too. You'll also get an excerpt of Wilde Like Me the new book by blogger Louise Pentland.

First up is the Sleek Power Plump Lip Crayon. This  is a full sized product and comes in two colours; a nude and this coral toned colour. The product is designed to plump up your lips by encouraging blood to the surface with its super tingly ingredient. I've tried this out and wow it feels funny. Kind of like you've touched your lips after chopping chilli, but the colour is lovely and I'm pretty sure I did notice a plumping effect. Not sure how long the tingling goes on for as I'll be honest I wiped it off after 5 minutes but if your after a plumper lip without the need for needles, this might be just up your street.

Another full sized product is the Batiste Plumping Powder. Not tried this out yet but I do love Batiste's dry shampoo and texturising spray so I reckon I'll love this too.

Third is the Manna Kadar Sheer Glo. The product normally costs £22.50 for 30ml. This is a 20ml tube, so a very generous sample size. Its a liquid highlighter with a rosey glow and looks lovely dotted on your cheekbones or mixed into your foundation for a dewy look. I think its a lovely warm colour and perfect for Summer.

I'm so excited for product number four. Its a peel of charcoal mask by Beauty Pro and I've wanted to try one for ages. You get one sachet and it peels off really easy with no pain but I didn't have that satisfying pore cleaning effect I was hoping for but my skin did feel really clean and soft.

Product five is 111 Skins, Space Defence Bright Eye Lift Gel. The June Glossybox contains a 5ml sample sized. This product retails at £110 for 15ml so this is amazing value to get in the box, plus a little goes a long way. I liked this, it left my eye area hydrated and refreshed. Definitely going to keep using this one.

Last up is a sachet of Sanctuary's Ultimate Salt Scrub. I'm excited to try this as I've found coffee scrubs too messy but love how soft they make the skin, I'm hoping this will have the same benefits without the mess. Plus its got coconut oil in so I bet it smells lush!

Right now you can get 50% off your first Glossybox as well as choosing from two free gift bundles if you snap up the June box quick before the 30th June with the code SUMMER! Subscribe here.

You can choose either the This Works In Transit Camera Close Up primer and the Model Co contour stick or Dr Paw Paw balm and Rodial Glamolash Mascara. I love the In Transit primer as it came in the March box and I've used it loads so I would definitely choose that bundle. Getting two more products on top of a six item box I think makes the June Glossybox one of the best this year and brilliant as you can get it for £5 with the above offer!.

I’ve been wondering if Glossybox is worth it and it actually does seem to be! Great way of discovering new products too, I’d never pick up some of that stuff in shops but bet I’d love it.
