I am on such a homeware buying mission at the moment and a couple of weeks ago I headed off to Homesense to do a big old haul thanks to a voucher from The Brewery Romford. Now it might be because we're moving house that I'm picking up so many new pieces but also I love to switch up things for Spring as its the perfect time to update rooms with a new colour scheme. As lots of you wanted to see what I bought I thought I would do a little Spring homeware Homesense Haul Post!

Homesense is one of those places (like TK Maxx) that you won't always find the exact items in other stores but I kinda like the fact this means you can pick up cool one off finds. I bought quite a selection of items including some absolute bargains in the clearance sections which is always my favourite bit in these stores, especially in the stationery section.

So here's what I picked up.

LIVING ROOM ACCESSORIES

In our new house we're hoping to have a grey colour scheme. Grey is such a great colour as its so neutral. My husband said he thinks grey is the magnolia of our generation and I think he's right, I'd quite happily have everything in my house grey. I found this gorgeous grey and cream throw which was £12 in the clearance section although had only been £15 full price, which is going to look gorgeous in the living room. I love the texture of it and its has all tassels at one end. It will most likely drape on our sofa somewhere. Along the grey theme I also bought these grey storage boxes. I have no idea where these are going to go but at £2.99 for the small one and £4.99 for the larger one these were too much of a bargain not to buy. They will work well stacked up on top of each other on a shelf or next to the sofa. I'm kinda tempted to go back and buy more to be honest. Homesense had so many cute storage boxes including some pretty pink and gold ones which I really liked too.

This gorgeous chrome lamp was such a find. I love how it has an angle poise feel about it and its such a statement piece. I mean look at that marble base, its blogger heaven and it was priced at £37 in the clearance section down from £50. The lighting section was full of quirky lamps and shades. I spotted some cute gold desk lamps which would look amazing in a gold themed room.

BATHROOM TOWELS AND ACCESSORIES

So towels aren't the most exciting thing to buy but by purchasing some towels in a new colour scheme you can totally transform a bathroom. We are keeping out blue and teal scheme when we move but I love the look of mix and matching patterned towels with plain. I found these gorgeous chevron patterned towels which have all the tones we have already in out bathroom accessories. I loved how the store had a whole wall of towels, patterned and plain which could all be mixed and matched. I also bought some gorgeous plain towels that are so soft and a couple were reduced too so were as low as £3 for a towel.

STATIONERY

Stationery is my most favourite thing to pick up at Homesense. They have some incredible sets and things like quirky notebooks, perfect for list making and instagramming ha ha.  I love this little set of note cards all different colours with matching envelopes. This set was which is just a blummin stationery bargain and a half at £5.99. I also spotted this pink and gold pineapple set which came with pineapple post its, a to do list and gold clips too. This boxed set was the same price too.  As I also mentioned they always have some incredible sale bargains, I found this gold wood effect notebook for the bargain price of £1 so definitely worth a hunt in the clearance section.

I also did buy the little wooden heart chopping board which is so cute and will sit in my new kitchen with a vase of flowers on it. Good little bargain too at £4.99.

So that's my Spring homeware Homesense Haul. Hope you loved seeing what I picked up. I went to the store at The Brewery Shopping centre Romford if you are Essex based and want to visit the same store.

Let me know if you like these homeware hauls as I have lots more bits for the new house coming and would love to share them if you guys enjoy having a nosey.
