Ever since going full time on the blog I've been really trying to keep my weekends for spending time with my other half and doing the kind of things your supposed to do at weekends. You see while most people spend their weekends shopping, having lunch or going to the cinema bloggers who have full time jobs spend their entire weekend shooting photos, editing and blogging because that's the only time to do it. I fully sympathize with bloggers like this who manage to keep up with a blog and a job because I've been there and know how hard it is. Now that I have the week to do my blog I'm so happy I have my weekends back.

Me and my husband have been trying to have a sort of date night every so often, last week we headed out to dinner and this was my outfit. I love a smart casual date outfit. Its the kind of outfit you can wear when you don't feel the need to get super dressed up but still want to put something nice on!! This is my first stab at wearing the Pyjama top trend too and I have to say I am loving it. This NEXT beauty is gorgeous, it comes in three colours and is that perfect amount of dressy so you don't look like you've headed out for food in your pj's! My advice is size up as it is quite a small fitting top. I'm wearing a 10 but I reckon a 12 would have had a much nicer oversized look. Having said that I've worn this three times already so its not mattered much.

Although the dinner was not that great, it was so nice to spend some time together and get dressed up (ish) and go out. Plus I should give a blummin big shout out to my husband for these truly gorgeous photos. I've said it before that I wouldn't have a blog without him and he really does try his hardest to match the kind of shots I take myself of other bloggers and I think these shots are some of my absolute faves.

This weekend we headed to the seaside with the dogs which was soooo nice and enjoyed some of the rare sunny weather. I'm excited for Autumn with chunky knits and boots but I will miss those mild sunny evenings when you can just wear a pj top like this and no jacket. Although next week I am off away for some proper sunshine. I'm heading away with Emma for a couple of days so keep an eye on my Instagram to find out where! This means I can take these beloved leopard sliders with me and get some final 2016 wear out of them!! Hurray!!!

Hope you all had a brilliant weekend xxxxx Let me know if you have tried wearing the pyjama top trend yet or not?

I think this looks great on. I have been thinking about trying the pyjama top trend, and this doesn’t look as you said “ready for bed” I think this size on you looks great too.

At first I wasn’t a massive fan of this trend but now I love it!

I really like this look on you, but I just don’t think I could pull it off! Especially pregnant, it would probably look like I’d forgotten to dress my top half ;)
Gorgeous photos too, love the evening lighting.
