This post is going to give you all the cosy feels I guarantee it. You might have spotted the buzz word Hygge around a lot at the moment. Its the Danish word that means to enjoy life and make the most of simple pleasures. In Autumn for me that means getting cosy with a hot drink, a candle lit and some great tv. This Moi-Même Subscription box is all about Hygge this October. If you haven't heard of Moi-Même before, its the quarterly subscription box which aims to "provide women with a regular dose of me time, giving them a break from their busy lives with a box of treats, just for them". I was lucky enough to get my hands on the gorgeous October box full of UK products and well as some hand picked brands from Denmark and Sweden to give the box that real scandi vibe.
Here's what was inside my box.
I was so impressed with the contents. First up were the mega cosy socks by YAWN. Now I can totally see myself sipping hot chocolate (dairy free of course) with these bad boys on, they are super soft and perfect for autumn. Also inside was a lavender sack from the nightwear brand YAWN with four different designs available mine was Night Time. Pop this little beauty under your pillow for a restful nights sleep. One of the great things about Moi-Même is that if you want to swap one of your box items for a different design then you can, alternatively you can buy all the box items individually in the Shop so you can collect all the designs.
There are a couple of products in the box from the Danish skincare brand NUORI. This brand is unique in that all their skincare is made "fresh" which basically means they only manufacture their products in small batches. Included was their Vital Foaming Cleanser full size and a sample size of eye cream. Both products in their full sizes will be available to buy in the Moi-Même shop soon.
The enclosed booklet not only has more info about the brands included inside the box but also all the prices of the items should you want to buy them.
Of course no cosy night would be complete without a candle and the Moi-Même Subscription box contained a large candle from The Bath Candle Company. The company is based in Bath (as is Moi Meme) and uses eco friendly soy alongside luxury scents to create their fragranced candles. There were 5 scents available and I was sent Orange & Chilli which smells so fresh and so warm too. Once again if you wanted a different candle to the one in your box you could exchange which I think is such a good idea. So often with subscription boxes you are stuck with whatever comes whether you would use it or not. Exchanges do have a charge for postage but all the info is in the FAQ's.
The last item in the box was the Monaco Bracelet by EDBLAD. This pretty circle bracelet came in gold, rose gold and silver and I was sent gold which is my fave metal!! I love how the stones are inset inside the circle, it gives it a real subtle sparkle. This was definitely my favourite item and I especially loved the packaging of this Swedish brand.
I loved my October Moi-Même Subscription box and can't wait to light my candle, put on my socks and relax. The Shop will soon be updated with the individual items from the October box which will all be at their RRP. Plus Moi-Même have a few October boxes left which will be going into the shop - so if you fancy a box for yourself then keep an eye out!!
To subscribe you will need to sign up for a quarterly or yearly subscription. The box is a luxury box and the price does reflect that. The boxes are £49.95 a quarter or work out nearly £5 cheaper if you subscribe for a whole year but the contents this month are worth over £100 so its well worth it. You can subscribe here.
