Today's post is a Pom Pom Basket Bag DIY. This DIY is so simple and quick to do, plus its bang on trend for summer at a fraction of the High Street price. I've used a basket bag I picked up when I was in Spain but you can buy your own plain bag using the materials links at the bottom of this post!
DECIDE WHERE YOU WANT TO START AND WHERE YOU WANT YOUR LINE OF POM POMS AND GLUE THEM ON USING YOUR GLUE GUN.
APPLY THE GLUE TO THE BACK OF THE POM POM STRIP AND PRESS ON.
REPEAT THE PROCESS WITH YOUR EMBROIDERED OR PATTERNED TRIM.
APPLY THIS ABOVE THE LINE OF POM POMS.
I TUCKED IN THE END OF MY POM POM TRIM AND TAPE INTO THE HANDLE AREA TO HIDE THE END.
ADD A DOT OF GLUE TO SEAL THE END TOO.
USE THE THICK EMBROIDERY THREAD TO WRAP A SECTION OF THE HANDLE. APPLY A DOT OF GLUE TO THE START AND WRAP YOUR THREAD OVER IT TO SEAL.
ADD A DOT OF GLUE TO THE END OF THE THREAD AND USE YOUR SCISSORS TO TUCK IT UNDER
