RUSH Salon Chelmsford

A few weeks ago I had an appointment at my local RUSH Salon Chelmsford. The chain has now opened a branch in Chelmsford and I’d been invited to visit and be treated to a complimentary appointment. I headed there to have just my colour done as I do have a regular salon that cuts my hair.  The salon is really central in Chelmsford and although it appears small from the outside it is in fact spread over two floors on the inside including a training area upstairs.

The decor was modern and spacious and definitely my kind of salon.

I wanted to darken down my roots and cool down my blonde and the consultation before was all about discussing exactly what I wanted, choosing colours and really talking clearly through what I wanted my finished result to be. I think this part of the appointment is so important and I was so pleased that it was at RUSH too.

Plus any salon that serves me yummy chocolates alongside my cappuccino always wins in my book too. I was very well looked after with lots of drinks and reading material plus free wi fi so I could tweet and catch up on my emails during my visit too.

Although I didn’t have my hair cut, I did have a gorgeous blow dry which is the best bit of going to the hairdressers I think. I  had all my hair curled which lasted for a couple of days too which was lovely.

After my initial appointment I decided that the top wasn’t quite dark enough for me and the salon were fab getting me back in again to get it absolutely the way I wanted it which was so great.

I loved the salon, everyone was so friendly and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in and around the area.
