One of the best things about holidays is getting the chance to get dressed up to go out for the day or in the evening. When else is it entirely appropriate to have several outfit changes a day? I love that holiday gives me the opportunity to wear things I might not get the chance to back home, mainly because I’m always at work or dressing really casual at weekends. I love both of these summer outfits and they are almost completely made up of gorgeous new pieces from the Summer Collection at Wallis.
My fave is most definitely this khaki look. Khaki is a big colour for summer and even better it’s perfect with a tan too. These palm print trousers are so lightweight and I love the design which is another big trend this season, teamed with this cami vest you have a winning summer outfit right there. I’ve added a pair of lace up gladiator heels in white so I’m dressed up for dinner, but flat sandals would also look lovely too. Plus khaki suits tan accessories as well so you could wear this seasons fave espadrille wedge with the look too.
I wore this to head out for a lovely dinner in the town of Nerja, near to where we were staying. I love it when the nights are mild enough to not need a jacket either. Perfect!
For one of my more casual holiday outfits I opted for this short sleeved shirt in a stone colour, teamed with white cut offs and the gorgeous lace up heels again. The shirt is quite an over sized fit so although I’ve opted to tie it at the waist it also looked great left unbuttoned and open with a cami vest underneath. I’m a big fan of shorts with a bit of a heel or wedge. Not only does it lengthen your legs but its gives the whole look a slightly dressier feel whilst still being casual.
The great thing about all these pieces is that they are so wearble at home too. The shirt will look lovely with jeans at the weekend and the cami too and the palm print trousers would work great with a piece of summer knitwear over if the UK temps don’t stay so healthy.
I have so many holiday outfits to share with you and some pictures of the villa and places we went during our week. I can’t wait to share them. Plus they’ll be a vlog coming very soon of the entire trip so keep an eye on my Youtube too.
Do let me know which of these holiday outfits is your favourite??
