As much as I love to get dressed up sometimes you honestly can’t beat a great casual weekend outfit. I love how this one has a hint of the smart from the Closet London NavySleeveless Coat and cute striped blouse but the cropped jeans and trainers keep it nice and chilled for wandering around the shops or having lunch. I love navy blue, I think its a really underrated colour. You might remember my lovely navy jumpsuit in my Essex Digital Awards post and this is another navy piece that I’m really loving. Sleeveless coats can be a great transitional item now that the weather is milder but not quite no jacket at all weather yet. I think this one will look gorgeous over a long sleeve top too, plus navy will last into Autumn so I can layer it with a jumper at the other end of the season.

Today is my very last day at my full time job. I’ve been there 12 years so I’m sure it will be quite a weird day for me but I am looking forward to the future and also to being able to wear nice outfits like this during the week too. That might sound so shallow but I couldn’t wear this to work currently as it would get paint or glue on it or get dirty from scrabbling around in a props store. I can’t wait to wear nice stuff every day (apart from when I’m sat in my pj’s watching Netflix which everyone seems to think is what I’ll be doing now lol)

Next week is my work leaving do though and I can’t wait to get glammed up and head out for a few drinks to celebrate my new chapter and say goodbye to people I’ve worked with over the years. If you don’t already follow me on snapchat (bangonstyle) that might be a good week to start!! ha ha

If you didn’t catch my recent post all about Apps for Planning your Instagram then do as its well worth a read now VSCO cam has updated or check out two more of my Summer Holiday Outfits in Wednesday’s post instead.

Happy Friday all and have a great weekend
