Festival Outfit feat Missguided

I’m so excited to be heading to V Festival next weekend and when I styled up this festival outfit I thought it might be perfect with a few tweaks maybe. I think its sometimes hard to dress for a festival, it often can hugely depend upon the weather but this Missguided dress will be great if its warm and brilliant for layering a cardi or jumper over if its chillier. The Khaki jacket has been my most worn item of the summer. Its the comfiest and easiest thing to wear and looks great with pretty much everything, sadly its not very waterproof so I may have to rethink if rain is forecast or take a pac a mac style coat in my bag I reckon. These Gladiator sandals are also the most gorgeous looking sandals ever and you might have spotted them in a few of my posts. I love the look of them with this outfit but I do worry they may not be the most practical of footwear for a busy festival. No one wants their toes squashed by crowds of people do they? I think I might switch up the look and wear some ankle boots maybe for the actual day – what do you think? Or maybe trainers??

So I end up in the eternal debate of do I wear a V Festival outfit that looks nice or one that’s more practical?? I think I might try and meet somewhere in the middle. One of the hardest things I think dressing for a festival is making sure you have layers for later in the evening when the temperature drops but being clever so you don’t have to carry them around all day. Think shirts or jumpers tied around the waist and a scarf cunningly tied onto your handbag! That’s my top tips. Check out my other Festival Post for more tips.

I cannot wait to go on to V Festival the line up for Sunday is sooooo good. Looking forward to seeing George Ezra, Calvin Harris and so many more. I’m trying to figure out a way to take a camera to get some snaps but sadly I don’t want to take my Olympus Pen. That’s a sure fire way to lose it or get it covered in beer or something! I might have to stick with my iPhone only which is a bit of a bummer. Any bright ideas anyone??
