In the second of my Kaleidoscope Blogger Expert posts I’m styling up a wedding guest outfit in head to toe Kaleidoscope. Weddings can be really hard to choose an outfit for but I think a dress is always a winner and I don’t think you should be afraid of a vivid print either.  This 50’s style dress is the perfect choice for a wedding, it has a lovely classic shape but its bold print means you can work the dress for a variety of styles of wedding by accessorizing with different colours. I’ve pulled out the yellow in the dress by adding a yellow pair of classic shaped courts and a yellow bag but also tied in the black with a simple cardigan cover up with a pretty bow detail. You could also wear a white cover up with white fascinator for a different look altogether.  I also chose a larger bag rather than a clutch as I have loads of things I like to take to a wedding including my camera to capture the day, tissues for the possible tears, confetti for the photo op and even a pair of flats for dancing later! This tote bag is perfect for fitting in all these essentials.

As part of my Expert post I answered a series of style questions all wedding guest outfit and general wedding related and you can read all my answers over on the Kaleidoscope blog.

I’d love to know how you approach dressing for a wedding as a guest? Whats your go to outfit and what do you think of this 50’s style look??

This dress looks stunning on you! I’ve got a wedding at the end of this month and it would have been great as I love the colours, but had a look on the website and it doesn’t have sleeves and I’m not getting my arms out for no-one at the moment in time!!! The hunt goes on.
