I kinda wish I’d been to a festival this Summer as these shorts and this jacket would have been a perfect ensemble! The shorts are from the Post Script range from Peacocks which has a real boho vibe about it, with lots of soft prints and so many festival worthy pieces. The shorts have the cutest jewel embellished detail on the front and would be great with a pair of Hunter wellies I reckon! The quilted jacket has the loveliest paisley style design in blue and I’ve been wearing it too with ripped jeans and a simple tee. I own so many patterned jackets but they are the simplest thing to throw on with dresses or jeans and can add some colour or a pattern to a pretty plain outfit.

 I’ve spent my week off from work dashing into London three days in a row but we’ve also relaxed, had a mini barbecue just me and my husband, drank Pimms, eaten Eton mess, walked along the seafront with the dog and had an ice cream. Plus tonight we are off to try a Chinese dim sum restaurant I’ve always wanted to try, so not too bad a week off. I’m pretty sad its over mind, I’ve enjoyed just hanging out and blogging but its back to the day job on Monday so for now I’m off to sit in the sunshine with a cup of tea.
