In Love With Fashion Academy – Blogger Events

I’ve attended two of these brilliant Fashion Academy events held by In Love With Fashion, one in March and the other just a few weeks ago in April.

They are designed to be that little bit more than a standard blogger event, they still include all the usuals; drinks, nibbles, fashion browsing and a goodie bag but they have the added bonus of some really interesting and helpful talks by various speakers designed to educate bloggers too.

At the first event the fabulous Sophie from Mad PR gave us a bit of background behind Love and the idea for LFA (Love Fashion Academy) and how she works with Love and bloggers. She also introduced us to Coco who works for Love and who then talked us through her career path to where she is now.

The gorgeous Naomi from the blog Two Shoes One Pair took us through how she moved from retail fashion into blogging and what the future holds for her with an exciting new job with Beyond Retro.

At the second event Sophie talked us through how she set up her company Mad PR and Sheila from E-Tail PR spoke about Affiliate Marketing – which was really useful and something I didn’t truly understand.

Then the incredibly lovely Sarah Ashcroft gave some interesting and helpful tips regarding blogging and how she has achieved such success in such a short amount of time.

I love the LOVE events. They are firstly held on a Saturday which makes them much easier to attend and I love seeing all the gorgeous Love girls and other bloggers. I really like the extra dimension these events have to them too. I have always gone away having genuinely learnt something as well as having stuffed my face with yummy donuts and having had a fair few glasses of rose and a good natter.  My kind of blog event!!
